Dear Valued Client(s),

With all that is taking place during these unprecedented times pertaining to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), H.T.S LLC wants to make you aware that we are taking the appropriate precautions to protect our drivers as well as the customers.

As we prepare to start back up with Carrier Service, we have implemented the following procedures to protect our drivers and customers in order to maintain social distancing and to keep everyone safe.

Some of the guidelines have been set by many brokers and we will follow those guidelines until further notice:

  • Origin and Destination signatures WILL NOT be provided by customers

  • Origin-Drivers will type in the name of the person releasing the vehicle(s) on the BOL and in place of the signature,COVID-19 will be typed

  • Destination-Drivers will type in name of person accepting the vehicle(s)on the BOL and in place of the signature,COVD-19 will be typed. In cases where night drops are available STI will be typed on the BOL

  • Inspections of vehicle(s) will remain the same. Drivers will still be responsible for documenting damages if any on their smart devices.

  • Destination check-in will still allow customers to visually verify what has been documented and that damage codes if any are correct while still trying to keep a 6-foot distance.

Listed below are precautions that our drivers have been mandated to do before and after customer contact for each Origin and Destination in order to protect our drivers as well as the customers:

  • Drivers will disinfect smart devices

  • Mask are to be worn when entering any buildings or the locations they are picking up from or delivering too.

  • Maintain 6-foot distance

  • Wear disposable gloves when in contact with facility personnel, keys,or any paperwork

  • Trucks will be wiped down frequently throughout the course of the day

  • Drivers will immediately report to Operations Manager if they start feeling ill and dispatch will immediately contact Broker if there will be any delays, changes or cancellations or an order.

H.T.S, LLC will continue to be attentive during this pandemic and will keep this policy in place until WE feel it is safe or Brokers update their current policy. We value the safety of our clients and customers, and we hope everyone remains safe during these unprecedented times.
